The Reality of Law Enforcement

Being a law enforcement officer is no easy job. Where else do you leave for work full well knowing you may have to put your life on the line that day. There have been over 20,000 officers killed in the line of duty since the first recorded death in 1791. Officers face the reality that on average 1 officer is killed every 58 hours, and lets not forget about the constant onslaught of assaults. On average there are over 58,000 assaults on law enforcement officers each year, that’s over 150 per day.
